Chapter 16
    Awkward, it’s not the first time
    It was very unpleasant to be kicked out of our special bakery do to our girl fight. Now, it wasn’t that bad, we were just pulling each other’s hair, though I did get a good kick on my side, and Ali’s going to have an ugly bruise on her cheek from my fist, but hey.
    No damage done to the love.
    We immediately went to the mall buying ourselves ice cream, and saying sorry over and over again, with a few nice shopping trips. Today was a nice day.
    Beth and Sage were chua at us, though, because our fight had got us permanent banishment from our special bakery, but we’ll just have to get a new one. Thing’s are changing for the good, the really good.
    Like, for instance, I think I’ve found a new crush, I know I just met him, and we talked for only six hours straight but, Ryler’s just intruding, we have the same interests and a ton more.
    Besides, I fell in tình yêu with Cal the moment I first saw him at his bóng đá game, and I was very far from him to get a good look at him. So, I’ve always been horrible at picking the perfect crush, a guy that could actually become something more. But never mind.
    “He’s also a very good choice because he’s Adam’s roommate.” Ali says, winking at me. “Adam would totally improve, and your parents would have to, considering he lives with your not very mature but wise older brother.”
    “You forgot to mention hot,” Sage says.
    I gag. “Guys, I thought we already agreed to call family relatives, especially brothers, hot when I, hoặc bạn guys, were not here. bạn know awkward.”
    Sage shrugs. “Can’t help it, bubs, your brother got so cute over the years, looks better than I remember him actually.”

    “Don’t joke about that!” Sage says as I roll my eyes.
    “Speaking of awkward here comes Grey.” Ali says, pointing behind Beth.
    Beth blushes, but turns around, and both of their eyes connect, she waves, and Grey comes over.
    “Hey,” Grey says, looking at her with soft eyes. He casts us a glance. “Ladies.”
    “Grey,” we all say.
    “So how’s it going?” Grey asks Beth.
    Beth smiles. “Good it’s going good, it’s really nice to see you. I…I had a nice time Friday.”
    Grey nods, “Me too. Speaking of our date,” Grey laughs awkwardly, running a hand through his hair nervously. “I was wondering if bạn wanted to catch a movie and have some bữa tối, bữa ăn tối tiếp theo week, Saturday?”
    “Sure,” Beth says, smiling. “Can’t wait.”
    “I’ll pick bạn up at five?” Beth nods and Grey grins. “Okay, see bạn at school, beautiful.” He glances at us. “Ladies.”    
    “Grey,” we all say, and I waggle my eyebrows.
    “Oh. My. Freaking. Tuna.” Sage says. “Did we just witness the arrangement of a một giây ngày with Grey, who was nervous, and blushing?”
    “Yes,” Ali says, grinning at Beth. “We did!”
    We all squeal. Beth glares at us. “Shut up, it was awkward and your presence didn’t help.”
    “Your going on a một giây ngày with one of the most wanted boys in school. Oh my gosh sweetie!” Sage gushed. “You’re a walking cliché!”
    “Yeah, now all we need is Pam, to start dating that gorgeous morsel in her house and we’ll be like a real live reality tv show, just imagine Meredith’s face when she sees bạn with him!” Ali says.
    I glare at her. “My life, my boyfriends.”
    But secretly I was just angry that she called Ryler a gorgeous morsel.
