"Wake up, sissy! Wake up!" Anna screamed in my ear.
"OUCH!" I yelled back sitting up. Anna left my room. The walls of my room are filled with posters of rock bands and singers. I got up and changed into my clothes.Today was a different day. I was wearing a blue t-shirt with a peace sign on it and my yêu thích Miss Me Jeans.I went down the wooden staircase. I walked through our kitchen, heading in the direction of the dining room. Our dining room had a hình nền that had stamps that bạn would get in a passport because my family LOVED to travel. My mother came in with my usual breakfast: bánh xèo, bánh kếp with thịt ba rọi, thịt xông khói and eggs. When I finished, I put my plate in the phòng bếp, nhà bếp sink.
"Mom, I want to walk to school today. I don't want to ride the bus," I told my mother.
"Ok, if bạn say so," she replied.
"Mom, I do say so,"I stated
"Ok, but bạn weren't supposed to an-"
"I know," I replied leaving the room. I went to the front door and stood there for a moment. Then, I opened the door and left. I walked a long while, so when I got there, i got a huge drink of water.
"Hey, Katiey!" I đã đưa ý kiến waving to my best friend.
"Hey Savannah! Did bạn hear we are having a pep rally this afternoon? It's at one o'clock, right in the middle of science!" she đã đưa ý kiến excitedly. Katiey and I both HATE science. It wasn't our thing. All morning I wondered what the pep rally was about. At lunch, everyone was chatting about it. After a long lunch period, Katiey and I ran over to science.
"Today, we are learning about our ecosystem," Mr. Savorlite continued," but our lesson will be cut short today because of the pep rally." During that long and boring lesson, I was only half listening!

This is what bạn call the Earth
This is what people call the world
This is what we call life
We can't go on pretending ngày bởi day
That good things will always happen
Stormy days will come, it's not a miracle
But the storm will end soon, and all will be clear again
Heavy rain's crashing against my windowsill
I think, when will this ever stop?
The thunder's crashing against the trees outside
Today's not going to be a fine day, but it will end
I woke up this morning and guess what I saw
Bright sunny mornings with a clear future
No one's gonna stop me from believin
The rain stopped and the future's bright again
Good and bad create our lives
We can't pretend that everything's gonna always be alright
It's hard to think that something's gonna be wrong
But it's the truth, the whole truth.
We can't go on ngày bởi ngày pretending
Everything's gonna be alright
But we know that sunny days will come out
Soon hoặc later.
