I always wanted to know will Elena be a vampire?? Cause I want to but also I don't want cause it'll be too Twilight-ish.

she does become a vampire. but not for the same reasons that edward turns bella. Bella had wanted to become one since the first book. whereas the vampire diaries is different from twilight. elena's character is sooo much stronger than bella's and doesn't need a man in order to go on living.
