Tears rolled over Elena’s cheeks as she held Damon in her arms. This could not be happening. This had to be a nightmare, one she needed to wake up from. She closed her eyes and memories of her and Damon flashed through her mind.
“I’m coming with you” she said. “Really?” Damon asked suspicious. “Damon, I ran through the rain. I’m soaked. She felt a sudden heat and looked down at Damon, who’s body had caught fire. The flames contacted her flesh and though it burned she couldn’t let go of Damon. She screamed of internal and external pain.
She woke up with a shock and breathed heavy. The real Elena was back.

Julie Plec: We were heading toward the end of the road knowing that as a human, Stefan was Elena's choice. We also knew what was going to happen at the end of the episode. Elena is no longer a human when she wakes up and when the memories come back and when her whole life goes upside-down. Who's to say what that does to her? Who's to say what kind of person she becomes, and how that impacts who she loves and why she loves them? I'm not saying that's going to send her running instantly into Damon's arms, absolutely not, but it's going to đám mây the issue even more.

I have been obsessed with the vampire diaries for like ever and I was so excited for this season to start! However, after watching the first and một giây episodes, it felt kind of boring for some reason. I think that the whole season 3 is meant to have a thêm upbeat and less of a Gô tích and dark atmosphere, like season 2, but for some reason I don't feel the same spark and passion and i guess, epicness that season 2 really had. i have also heard about the ratings and number of viewers plummet and so i feel like i'm not the only one who thinks that there's something missing. I noticed that I am losing interest in the show, because I forgot about the new 'hybrid' 3x02 episode that premiered on thursday, so i watched it later over the weekend on dvr.
