I remember visiting this website once...
It was called FX renews 'The Strain,' orders new comedy from Louis C.K. | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
FX made several big announcements Friday, including a key series renewal: Vampire thriller
will get a third season. Plus FX ordered two new shows, and
is coming back for a third season next summer, with current producers Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse on board. The vampire drama is based on a series of three books, and doing at least three season has been the goal of the producers. One question, give that the show’s performance hasn’t been all that strong, is whether next season might be the last one. More clarity possible later today from FX’s
received a series order. The show is basically an unofficial
is co-created and stars Pamela Adlon, who plays a fictional version of herself on
sounds pretty similar. She’s ”a working actor with no filter trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters’ lives, have fun with a friend or two, and also — just maybe — squeeze in some private time once in a while.” FX has ordered 10 episodes. Aldon and C.K. wrote the pilot, which was directed by C.K.
is being booted off FX! After six seasons, the snarky animated favorite is shifting over to sister network FXX for its new season next year. The show is being paired with a new comedy that network ordered today called
executive producer Adam Reed (and has a similar animated style to
stars Kaitlin Olson as “Cassius” and Lake Bell as “Clay,” “two bandits looking to survive in a futuristic, post-apocalyptic American South.” FXX is considered the company’s comedy channel and FX is the drama channel, though since FX is higher rated and has a bigger profile, comedies still tend to at least debut on the flagship channel (like
, which launched on FX last year, but moves to FXX next month for season 2). Still, you can easily hear Sterling sounding off on this: “That’s how we get low ratings, Lana!”
: No decision yet. FX probably won’t make a verdict on the Middle East drama until after the current run concludes.
