I remember visiting this website once...
It was called 'The Originals': What's the deal with baby Hope? | EW.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:

From the first time that baby Hope Mikaelson’s blood helped heal her mother from inside the womb,
fans knew that she was no ordinary baby. But considering that we’d always functioned under the idea that vampires can’t procreate, what would the baby of a hybrid and a werewolf look like… especially if she was also part witch?
executive producer Michael Narducci to explain a few things.
“She’s a baby who was born with witch potential and the werewolf gene, and also a hint of her father’s vampire curse in her blood. So she will age like a normal child, but she also will have things like, if she gets injured, she’ll heal quickly because there’s vampire blood in her system,” Narducci said.
And as we’ve seen this season, Hope’s “witch potential” has already started to make its way to the surface. But there are two reasons why we probably won’t see it fully explored anytime soon—the first of which being Dahlia.
“The problem with Hope’s power is once she starts to display any kind of a latent witch ability, that is what is drawing Dahlia to her,” Narducci said. “So the question becomes: Even if we took Hope and ran, Dahlia would be able to find us. She would always be able to track that baby’s powers. So can we even run? Is there a way to figure out how to evade Dahlia?”
And reason number two? The ridiculousness factor. “Even though she has some witch power, clearly she’s an infant. She’s not capable of defending herself, particularly against something like Dahlia. This is something we’ve never seen before and have a lot of ideas about how to play out her growth. But it’s important to remember she’s not going to, as an 8 month old, suddenly gesture and there’s some kind of spell that takes place. I could see why fans think that’s ridiculous, and I think that’s ridiculous too. So we’re not going to do that.”
But that doesn’t change the fact that baby Hope will always be supernatural. And for as long as the show airs, her capabilities will play a role.
“[Throughout] her growth from baby to infant to toddler—however far we’re able to go in terms of our timeline—she will always have something very special about her,” Narducci said.
