The Matrix Trilogy, specifically 1999\'s genre-defining The Matrix and 2003\'s The Matrix Revolutions, set in a dystopian future where mankind is kept suppressed in a virtual reality world and humans are bred as batteries powering machines whilst the last remaining fragments of humanity fight for freedom.

APU stands for Armoured Personnel Unit, a hydraulic mechanized walker that the human survivors used to protect the last hidden human city of Zion against the squid-like Sentinel killing machines) and the Bug Extractor prop (used to extract the tracker bug in Keanu Reeves \'Neo\' in the first movie) were photographed on display at Warner Bros. Studios Backlot Tour on June 9, 2016.
