I have no idea what the hunger games are... can someone tell me?

Well The Hunger Games is a trilogy of sách taking place in a post-apocalyptic America where there are 12 outlying districts with one ruling capitol. And after a series of natural disasters known as the Dark Days, and the districts form a rebellion, the Capitol selects two children inbetween the ages of 12 and 18, known as tributes, from each district to compete in the annual "Hunger Games" where each tribute fights to the death until only one is left standing all on live television.

In the story, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are the tributes selected from district twelve to compete.


The epic novels are now even being turned into a movie. Here's the trailer. :D

The Hunger Games is an epic novel based on the future of North America. There are twelve districts spread across America that specialise in a particular thing, like mining, fishing, clothing, electronics, ect. All the districts are ruled bởi an over-the-top government called the Capitol. Every year, to remind the people in the districts that they are totally and completely at the mercy of the Capitol, a man and woman between the ages of 12 and 18 are selected to compete in the annual "Hunger Games" The rules of the Games are simple. The twenty-four children from the districts, called tributes, are imprisoned in a vast outdoor arena that can hold anything from a burning desert to a Nữ hoàng băng giá wasteland. Over a period of several weeks, the competitors must fight to the death. The last tribute standing wins. The book is all about the two tributes from district 12, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, and their amazing journey in the arena.
