i first saw her 1 hour ago and i said she is the seeker/lacey! i found her finally:) "nicole62"s idea. i think she is perfect for this role

She is pretty perfect, isn't she? I was trying to think of actresses that I had seen portray really mean or annoying characters and I remembered her bitchy characters from Pursuit of Happyness and Chronicles of Riddick.

Yes, I agree Thandie Newton is a good choice but since you asked for the seeker on my mind, I chose Jada Pinkett Smith.

I like her in House and I know she could be a great Seeker.

I think she's too sweet for the role, AND she's black. But she was the best out of the options.

In the majority of her roles she has played strong, resilient, and sometimes mean characters: Chronicles of Riddick, Pursuit of Happiness, Crash, Beloved, Mission Impossible II, and W.

She is half white (British) and half black (Zimbabwean). Her skin tone is very light, close enough to be considered "olive-toned."

I wasn't aware that stephanie meyer put in the book that the seeker wasn't black...hmmm. neway, thandie isn't a bad pick but I've always seen the seeker as Rachel...she can do witchy like on "Josie and the pussiecats" and, ofcourse, she fits the description

Yeah, Stephenie Meyer didn't say that the seeker wasn't Black. She said she had olive-toned skin which means she is probably one of the following: Latina, Mediterranean, Middle-Eastern, or a lighter-toned Black woman.

I really have no idea.
When i read the book, i pictured the seeker to look like the manager girl dude in "bolt" lol.

I had her in mind anyway, but Thandie Newton looks pretty good for the role too...
