Ok, the reason why I'm posting this here is because I'm interested in seeing what other ppl apart from the Sheldon/Penny shippers think about this moment!

I dunno, but the way she sat in that coutch and this line of hers "I'll quess is just the two of us hah?", made me thing that they could have a nice moment there! But also I don't mind that Amy appeared, cause if it wasn't for her we wouldn't have seen Penny smiling at him in that awfully sweet way!
That scene was just another confirmation that Penny loves Sheldon!And I mean it in a friendly way! She loves him.

By moment what do you mean? Didn't they have a moment? Lol.

I mean a romantic moment!

Ah ok. Eh not really in my opinion yes I thought the scene was very sweet but I'm not sure if there was any romantic connotation behind it (well not from Sheldon atleast).

Maybe it could have crossed Penny's mind but then part of me thinks Sheldon would say something 5 minutes later that would make that thought go away lol. But I could see how someone could take it that way.

Of course I don't mean that she would jump on him or something!:D And certailny nothing intentional from either Sheldon or Penny!I'm speaking about those moments that the two protagonists look at each other and there's the feeling that it could have been something there between them. Even for a moment!

But thank you for understanding how someone could see it that way!And for being nice, cause I was expecting a reaction like: "Ew go away you crazy Shenny shipper!:D

Oh I get how Shenny shippers would take it that way, but as far as a "moment" goes, I didn't see it as anything other than a friendship moment that pretty much every possible combo on this show has with each other. *shrug*

Yeah, it's not like they haven't eaten together before. And her tone suggested she was less than thrilled about having to just be with him. I'm sure she'd very much prefer it be just Sheldon than Leonard and Priya, but I don't think that conciously or unconciously either of them were thinking "yay!" *shrug* Like Carl said, it was just a friendship scene, and not unlike most of the other friendship scenes we've seen between any group of characters.

It's interesting that you mention her tone..I actually noticed her body language and she seemed to me to be kinda shy and hesitant, which I found pretty cute!

She did sound hesitant, although (and this may be just me) I didn’t attribute that to the fact that she was alone with Sheldon. Her tone was identical in “I smell Chinese food” which was a line spoken when she still thought some of the others might be there/coming. I think it was a tone that reflected the fact that she wasn’t in that great a mood (Amy: You feeling any better? Penny: Not really.) and therefore a general tone for her person at that moment rather than specific to the moment itself.

It's funny the different ways that Shenny and Lenny shippers see the things in this show... In this scene, I saw Penny flirting a little when she said "I guess it's just the two of us, hah?" with her smile and the way she put their legs. And other ppl saw her "less than thrilled" XD

Please no offense to any of you (who I feel terrible I don't know, but I haven't been here for a long time) but I still think Shenny is extreme wishful thinking. The writers are not going there.

I feel weird for butting in like this I'v had a fanpop for all of ten minutes but I love Sheldon/Penny but I can't see them in a couple I think the show would take the same turn as the shark jumping if they took that path I have confidense it won't happen.

to me it sort of showed that Penny is rather lonely, but unlike Sheldon is not by choice. that she is friends with teh guys but right now they have lifes outside of their little group, and she doesnt

Depends on what you mean by "moment"... If you mean they could have had a nice friendship-bonding moment then yes, but anything more than that then nope.
