There isn't much to the very first scene of the show, it's just a glims of the woods, and the police looking for the body, or even if you said Scott's introduction is the first real scene, then it doesn't even come anywhere close to what this scene is.

Despite not feeling like an ending to the series, but a new beginning (Which might very well happen) If you ignore these things, the scene is really awesome.
