What is the point of Particle Shields if cá đuối, ray Shields can repel Radiation, Blaster Bolts AND Solid Objects too?

Aboard the Invisible Hand, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi & Chancellor Palpatine are trapped bởi cá đuối, ray Shields. Why can't they just walk through the shields?

My understanding of the 2 types of shields, was that I can't SHOOT through a cá đuối, ray Shield & I can't cú đấm through a Particle Shield. What's going on here?

My personal answer (may not be totally accurate) is that the cá đuối, ray shield seen aboard the Invisible Hand was either a certain/special type of shield that can just deflect anything, hoặc that shield is actually a mislabeled particle shield. Not sure. Look it up on Wookieepedia. Maybe it's actually the other way around. Good observation.
