"Dad...!" Steven said, strangly cheerful. "There you are....! I was wondering if you'd join our party....!" He laughed heartily.

His father looked around and saw Demetria on the floor, laughing. He grunted. "Steven! This is not how I raised you.. You gota minor drunk? Thats insane! As, for you.." He glared towards Demetria. "You... and Jesse... are done. If your drinking becomes a habit. Then it will effect Jesse. You two are over!"

Demetria stumbled and pointed at Steven's dad. "You... can,... go... to... Hell.."

"Dad.... You can't break them up.... It's.... Not... Right or.... Possible..." Steven rubbed his temples. "Man my head is bumping..."

"Ha, Watch me." He stalked off.

Demetria stood and stumbled after him. "Screw you!" She shouted. "Jesse loves me and he wont accept this!"
He turned and glared at her. "Melany was twice as much better than you.. Jesse shouldnt have dumped her... He doesnt love you, Demetria. Do us all a favor and leave.."
Demetria's eyes widened by the words,"He doesnt love you." and walked to the door. "Fine by me.. Have a nice life in Hell.. Tell Jesse... I said, See ya.."

Steven stumbled after her and grabbed her arm. "Hold on... Are... Are you really... Gonna listen to what he says....? Can't you see.... What..... What he's doing...?"

She pulled her arm away. "Im doing whats best for him.. I apparently, am not the best."

He grabbed her arm again. "You have to... To see... Something..." He pulled her back into the house and up to Jesse's room. He fumbled through the papers on Jesse's desk. "Where.... The... The hell is it.... Ah ha!" He pulled out a small notebook and filled through the pages. "Here it is... L-look..." He handed her the book. Inside was a poem. A love poem. Around the edges were old drawing that looked Gothic and Romanic. They borded the rim of the page. At the bottom were Jesse's anitials. "It... It was for you... He... He wasn't finished with it yet.... H-he showed it to me... He wanted to see if.. If it was good before he gave... It to you..."

Demetria gasped lightly. "Its.. Its beautiful," She traced around the graphics on the poem and just wanted to see Jesse. "I need to get to the hospital. I'll see you later, possibly." She kept the notebook and ran downstairs. Her fingers shook harshly as she took his keys and ran outside. She jumped into the car and drove to Waverly Hospital.

Steven went to his room and laid on his bed. He fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Jesse sat up in the hospital bed and stared out the window.

She lept out of the car and ran to Jesse's room. "Jesse!" She whispered. Half of the patients were asleep. So she had to be quiet or she'd be kicked out.

Jesse looked up. "Demetria?"

Demetria stumbled over to Jesse. She was a little more drunk than she had planned.

She giggled. " Um... Truth being? I dont have a clue." She slurred.

"Demetria..." He sighed and pulled her into his embrace. "You could have been hurt. Why did you come?" He stroked her hair.

She handed him the book and grinned. "Read it to me."

He took it. "Where did you get this...?"

"Steven... He showed it to me,.. But since im not in position to read it.." She hiccuped. "I wanted you too.."

(One question: What color are her eyes?) He glanced at her then the book and nodded slowly. "Alright..."

Demetria waited for him to start.us

"Jesse.. I-I cant.." She stood abruptly. "Im sorry, But Im leaving. Im heading to Washington tomorrow. I got an early acceptance to Art School there. And.. I think its best we end things.." She croaked.

"What? Demetria please! Lets talk about this!" He gripped her hand.

"Jesse.. You're making things way harder for me! Just... Please..."

"But I can't lose you!"
