What IS this?

I was just sitting here fanpoping and eating Miss Vickie's chips doing no harm when I looked in the bag and saw something. There, in the midst of all the salt and vinegary goodness was this. It feels really hard and smells so much like vinegar it makes your eyes water. So I'm just wondering what bạn guys thing it is.
