'Penny Dreadful' Season 2 Updates, Spoilers: Love Square To Ignite With Revived Brona And Frankenstein, Caliban And Ethan [VIDEO]?

With season 2 of "Penny Dreadful" just around the corner, updates and spoilers have emerged regarding a new potential entanglement.

Last month, Showtime uploaded three behind-the-scenes videos regarding "Penny Dreadful" season 2, and actor Harry Treadaway reveals some interesting updates and spoilers regarding Brona.

Reportedly, Brona will be brought back to life, and "within it comes his fantasy and ideals of a woman, and that might be an issue."

According to theories by reddit user Sulinae, this could lead to a "love square" or sorts.

"Is it possible that the doctor will fall for his newest creation?" wrote Sulinae on Tuesday. "If so, it would cause so much tension between him and Caliban and Ethan in the long run."

Speaking of Brona, fans are curious to see whether the same personality we know from "Penny Dreadful" season 1 will come back in season 2 after being reanimated.

"The \'Brona\' we know may well be dead for good," said reddit user Mtempissmith.

"She may well emerge from her reanimation a totally new person. [It is] likely Victor ended up replacing a few things. The brain and body are hers but she may well wake up with a new personality entirely. With Victor helping her learn she could become anyone. She could talk differently, think differently, end up a completely different person from the one she once was. She might well meet Ethan and it might spark something but then again she might not recognize him at all."
