First thing in the morning, Skipper got the team up, to look into the discovery Kowalski made. None of them stopped until all the sách were scattered on the floor. It had to have been impossible.
There was no possible trace of evidence. The room wasn't there, even. It was like it had just vanished.
"Sorry, Kowalski, but it's like there's no way this happened." Skipper said.
"I know, but bạn have to believe me! I saw it. I saw them!" Kowalski exclaimed.
"We do, Kowalski, it's just that this place makes it extremely hard." Private reassured Kowalski.
"Thanks, but I'm not sure if I even believe myself anymore." Kowalski sighed.
"Don't worry, Kowalski. We'll figure out this mystery soon, go home, and everything will be back to normal." Skipper said.
"They're coming after me, and I don't even know who they are." Kowalski gasped.
"HJf ksdghjksagbd!" Rico exclaimed.
"Rico's right. You've got us, and we're not going to let anyone hurt you." Private said, and hugged Kowalski, snuggly. The others joined in soon enough. At that brief moment, the scientist felt safe.
"Let's take our minds off this for awhile." Skipper suggested.
When dinnertime arrived, the bàn was awkwardly silent. No one spoke a word, realizing today was another failure. Kowalski was about to get up and leave, when Ivory got up and asked to talk.
"Can we talk somewhere in private, Kowalski?" She asked like an angel.
"Kowalski, be careful." Skipper warned. Ramona rolled her eyes.
"I will," He made certain to his leader.
He skeptically headed off with Ivory.
"Listen, we got off on the wrong foot, and I think we should get to know each other better. Since, we're working together." She said, staring into his eyes like she was hypnotized.
"Sounds great."
"Cool, meet me in the ballroom in let's say .. an hour."
"All right,"
She headed off. Kowalski stared after her, blankly.
As Kowalski got ready, his team became suspicious.
"Kowalski, where are bạn going? We were going to play a game tonight." Private whimpered.
"Sorry, Private, I have something thêm important than a little game."
"It's not just a game. It's spending important time together. And what do bạn mean 'something thêm important'?" Skipper lectured.
"I have a date."
"xmfngbsmfg sfhsmhfg!" Rico growled.
"I have to go. I'm late! We'll play tomorrow night, I promise."
"Bye, Kowalski." Private sighed.
"Don't worry, it'll be still fun without him." Skipper smiled at his boys, who half-smiled back.
Kowalski entered the ballroom. The lights flickered, but stayed on, eventually. The room was completely vacant. A old stereo was powdered with dust and strung with cobwebs.
The slender chim cánh cụt blew on the âm nhạc player, and coughed as the dirt puffed through the air. For a ballroom, it was incredibly eerie to be alone in. A heavy breathing sound startled him. He turned, but no one was there.
Through the corner of his eye, he watched a dark figure rush across the room and disappear into thin air.
The breathing proceeded. He spun around searching for the noise. He froze in shock, when he found the same monkey with cymbals, on a shelf, covered in blood.
Once again, it clashed its instruments. SMASH! Kowalski shut his eyes tight. When he opened them, the toy was gone.
"Are bạn okay?" A voice asked. It was Ivory.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Are you?" He sighed.
"Yes, but bạn don't look well."
"I'm all right."
"Good,"
She strutted over to the stereo. The graceful âm nhạc played as they danced in each other's embrace romantically. Her eyes gleamed as they glanced into his.
Soon their magical night was over, and Kowalski forgot all about the gần đây terrors he had witnessed.
Sneaking into the quiet room, Kowalski didn't expect for Skipper to be awake.
"Hey, soldier." Skipper whispered. The chim cánh cụt jumped.
"Oh, hey."
Skipper was sitting in the chair. Rico's snores gave sound to the placid room. Private was fast asleep in Skipper's flippers, murmuring in his sleep.
"He was going to wait up for bạn with me, but he was so tuckered out he fell asleep." Skipper yawned.
"I'm sorry," Kowalski apologized.
"It's fine. bạn know, he's not going to forget about tomorrow."
"I know, I intend to play."
"So how'd it go?"
"Well,"
"That's good. Well, I better put him into bed. Goodnight."
"Goodnight, Skipper."
After putting Private to bed, Skipper went into his own, and fell asleep right away. Kowalski on the other hand, had the worst night of his life.
He tossed and turned all night, unable to get comfortable. Finally, he sucessfully went to sleep but his dream was interrupted bởi his name being called in a frightened, young, british voice, from outside the door.
"Private?" Kowalski murmured. He shut the door behind him as he left the room. Private was nowhere to be seen. He reached for the doorknob. As hard as he tried, it was locked. His flippers felt moist. He found they were drenched in blood. Suddenly, two flippers shoved him down the stairs, where he plummeted to the ground.
Kowalski woke up in a child's room. Something soft leaned up against him. The soft object was Ellie. It was her dead corpse. Tears streamed down his eyes. His eyes met his last hope: the window.
He rushed to it. Again, it was locked. The chim cánh cụt waddled back. The door flung open. The same three figures came after him. He took a deep breath and charged out the window.
Fortunately, there was a branch from the cây for him to cling to. The leader jumped on the same branch with an axe in its flipper.
"Bye, Kowalski." It said.
Kowalski stopped in shock as he realized who it was. As it swung the axe, Kowalski ducked. No longer did he wait to jump. Kowalski raced for his life. He was too focused on running, that he didn't see the flipper with a hammer come out of the bụi cây, cây bụi, tổng thống bush behind him.

Dumb Kowalski's conversation with Skipper
Kowalski: Hi, I'm a penguin.
Skipper: Okay.
Kowalski: Are bạn a penguin?
Skipper: Yes.
Kowalski: Yay! We're sisters!
Skipper: We'd better go outside. It's almost feeding time.
Kowalski: I like feeding things!
Skipper: We are the ones that get fed.
Kowalski: I hate feeding time. Why can't we feed ourselves?
Skipper: bạn can.
Kowalski: Yay! I tình yêu lemurs!
Skipper: Fine. *goes up the ladder*
Kowalski: No, Skipper, don't leave me here alone, with all the monsters! *clings onto Skipper's foot like a toddler*
Skipper: Then bạn can come out with us.
Kowalski: Hooray for fish!
Skipper: *sigh*
