because i dont know how and i really want to make my own!

well usually i just look @ the icon images. but if you want to make your own u can use photoshop.

i don't know but you need some art making software like Paintshop or Photoshop

dash of salt, pinch of sugar...and a whole cup of LP....lOL

I use Adobe Photoshop, and have been making icons and banners for years. It takes some messing around with images, or screencaps, adjust light levels, crop...and then think of a witty comment...like TLA, or something short phrased.

Text size, and color are key, stick with bold text, and neutral colors, and less is more with icons...if you bog it up, no one can read it.

Also, makes sure you save it small, or large as 100 by 100 pixels, or square...400 by 400 I use cuz they are crisper.

Then save and make sure it uploads right.

Just play around with it, and have fun

Nahh, it's pretty easy. I use what Laurencia has... fiddle about with photoshop

www.picnik.com is a great site to make icons. When you want the picture to become "icon-size", just resize the picture to 100x100.

I use photoshop cs4 and tutorials off of livejournal.
