whats your theory on the wicked witch's necklace?

i have a feeling its important. i saw a sneak peek where she's wearing it in storybrooke so obviously, it must hold some importance. i'm thinking maybe its the nguồn to all her power and if it gets destroyed, she'll lose her power and possibly die.
