Is what they are saying about the Minecraft movie true?

I'm hearing a lot about this lately, but It kind of sounds....strange? a game where bạn survive, but never really die forever, fighting monsters, and Punching trees which then float in the air?! how could that possibly become a movie?! I guess WB has their own ideas hoặc something, but like would it use 'real people' and scenery, hoặc will it be like those little animated shorts that bạn can find on YouTube?
