After I have done with the testing of characters' screen time in this episode, I decided to write an bài viết for this episode. This is one of the episodes that I think that many những người hâm mộ of the old anime series will remember which is the episode where Maya met the ant soldiers and is the fourth episode of the European version. Before I'm going to write my mô tả and rank the characters bởi their amount of screen time, I will explain something about the Saban English dub is that just like the European version, this episode is one of the earliest episodes and according to many sites, this episode was the first episode of that particular version that was ever aired before the other episodes that they have dubbed so far, but unfortunately, they haven't dubbed all 104 episodes of this anime series which some sites claim that either 55 hoặc 65 episodes were dubbed bởi Saban, but we don't really know how many episodes were actually dubbed bởi them as this particular version/dub was partially Mất tích and not all episodes were fully archived bởi people who have recorded the episodes on their video tapes though. Also, there is another thing to say about this dub is that they have made every tribe of ant soldiers who Maya have met from various episodes to be the same ones who appeared in this episode (which includes the youngest ones from those ant tribes bởi naming all of them as "Digger") which is not true in both original Japanese and European versions as those ants were considered as different characters and not all of them recognized Maya and her Những người bạn in those versions though, but yes, Saban decided to make that change which is a fine change for their version as I consider it to be its own version just like how both original Japanese and European versions are also considered to be their own versions as they all have different episode orders and different âm nhạc for example which this also applies to the Saban version as well. The episode starts where the ants took a ride in their thuyền (made of a leaf) and sung together (in both original Japanese and European versions, they sung their own song, while in the Saban dub, they sung their variation of the nursery rhyme called "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" instead) that one of them moved the thuyền with a pole as an chèo, chèo xuồng, mái chèo as they proceeded on their journey across the lake that even Maya saw them and rejoiced. When Maya came in time to help them, the ants were surprised to see her at first but were happy in the end that she managed to lead them to the end of the journey and they reached the way they should go (that even Maya herself was happy with what she did but she was a bit tired with so much effort that she did for the ants). As Maya went near the ants, Digger immediately went to her and thanked her for what she did to them and she told him not to thank her because she thought she wouldn't do anything. Then the general explained to her that without her help they would not have survived and that she should not leave without being thanked and with his kindness, he introduced himself to her at the same time, Digger did the same as he scolded him for counting on Maya again. But Maya told the general politely that it was no big deal as she smiled at him. Then the general spoke politely to Maya that he and the other ants wanted to express their thanks to her in every way and he ordered all the ants to go in two rows to their places, and forced Digger to go to his place as well. Then the general asked Maya to introduce herself and tell them her name, and she told them her name politely. Meanwhile, the general asked her again if she would allow him to invite her as he held her with one hand and she asked him what he wanted to do to her out of her curiosity. But at last the general led her to a rock and put her up on the rock to sit there and she asked him what she was to do up here and he replied that she would see at once while he was walking and told the soldiers to march for her since she saved them after their adventure in the lake. At the same time, Willy and Flip came to see Maya and the ants starting their parade. When the ants started the parade, Maya looked at them curiously as they paraded for her and she remembered that the general told her to salute with one hand while they were marching, but she didn't know which hand to salute with so she saluted with her left hand until Flip told her to salute with her right hand instead of her left hand for the parade. But Willy wasn't sure which hand to salute for the parade either and told Flip that he needed strength to hold the right hand up for a while and Flip mocked him for being too lazy for that and told Maya to do it which she immediately saluted with her right hand when the ants continued their parade (which at the same time Willy did the same). When the ants finished their parade, Maya applauded them and told them that she really liked it and it was great while she smiled and her Những người bạn (Willy and Flip) did the same as well. Then the general told her that he was glad that she liked the parade they did for her, and she replied that they paraded very well out of her great admiration. But the general asked her what else will please her, but Maya curiously asked him that this was not enough and he answered her a little sternly that she should not be so modest and then Maya found the answer that she should become a general once and she asks the general if he will allow her to be one, but Willy and Flip were surprised when she đã đưa ý kiến this and pleads with the general. Then Maya asked Willy to give his opinion on what she decided but he wasn't sure and he replied that he feels sorry for the ants and she told him that she can do it to prove it to him. Then the ant general warned Maya that when she commands the whole army of ants to "forget" that she is a bee and then to never use her wings at all so he spoke to her a bit sternly which she was surprised and didn't understand what he meant at first but he spoke to her thêm clearly that since she is a bee and can fly but the ants in his army cannot and that she will command as a general to the other ants and she must march like an "ant" in which she agreed to general with all that he told her (where at the same time before Maya agreed with the ant general, Willy told Maya that in her place he would reconsider this, but she did not listen to him because she already made up her mind on what ant general told her at the end). The general was pleased that she agreed with what he told her and gave her his spear as a reward for her. Overjoyed, Maya declared to everyone that from now on, she will be the new general as she held the spear in her right hand. But Willy and Flip were surprised that the ants gave Maya the favor as she turned and she pushed them not to block the way she will lead the ants for the new parade as the new general and after that, Maya and the ants started for their new parade. As soon as Maya and the ants started the parade and she directed them to go wherever she wanted, Willy and Flip were looking at their friend in surprise and Flip doubtfully told Willy that he didn't know if she would make it and Willy was thinking the same thing without talking to Flip. As they continued the parade, Maya was very excited about the work she is doing as a general as she made the ants go so far as if they were going on a long "journey" and she had a lot of fun as she smiled a lot about it. Meanwhile, a trapdoor con nhện, nhện had come out of his nest to see if any prey was coming and saw a ladybug flying around trying to catch and eat him but he got away and failed in the end. As Maya and the ants continued on their way, she led them onto a blade of cỏ where the trapdoor spider's nest was and they passed over the door of his nest which he suffered and did not expect this to happen and as they all left, he was disappointed that he couldn't catch them and looked at them plaintively at the end. As Maya and the ants continued their grand parade, various insects saw them and decided to follow them, most of whom are Maya's Những người bạn (who are Hieronimus the centipede, Kurt the beetle, the earwig children, mother ốc, ốc sên and her children, Max the earthworm and Hannibal the daddy long legs spider). But as Maya led the ants to the lake, she suddenly fell under the lake and almost drowned and she tried her best not to drown as she held the spear with her hands. As for the ants, they too were ready to drown where Maya led them into the lake but managed not to drown in the end. After crossing the lake without drowning, they continued the parade without any danger and as Maya led the ants, she noticed a cây and decided to command the ants to switch back and forth as they passed around the cây as she remembered the ant general's orders to the soldiers who marched for her. Maya was very pleased with the parade she made, but she stopped because she saw Digger who was tired and asked him what was wrong and he replied that he was tired and hungry from so much work she did for her parade that she felt hungry too, so she ordered the other ants to stop the parade at the end. Then Maya asked the other ants if they were hungry like her and Digger and the general replied that they were all hungry and Maya told him that she had such a good time that she never felt hungry until now and she asked the general if he would allow her to fly for a while to eat pollen and nectar from the hoa which the general allowed her and she gave the spear back to him to go to the hoa to eat her thực phẩm and he đã đưa ý kiến to her "bon appetit!" as she left and the general ordered the soldiers to go and eat somewhere. When Maya and the ants heard Digger's cries, they immediately went to find him and saw how he was caught in the antlion's trap, but the ants had no choice how to save him, but Maya told them that they should save him together from the antlion, but the ants refused and the general told Maya that they should leave him to his fate and that he does not want himself and the other ants to risk their lives since they have nothing else to do. Then Maya flew off alone to save Digger from the antlion, but as she went to save him, he was a bit heavy for her and she made a lot of effort to carry him as she flew so long to save him but they both almost fell into the trap, but Maya managed to flew away from the antlion and saved Digger and they got out of the trap and sat down on the ground as they sighed in panic. Almost all the ants were excited and happy that Maya managed to save Digger's life, but the general was not so happy and sternly told her that her command was over, which shocked everyone with what he told her. Then the general explained to her clearly why her command was over because of her deciding to fly to save Digger and how she didn't follow all the rules which upset Maya with all he told her but she understood and decided to give the spear back to the general politely. The general was happy that Maya understood and asked her if it is not easy for her to command ants and she replied that she liked it very much but she decided to remain a bee and that she will do better with her life as a bee and the general understood and he told her that it was time to go, and they immediately left to continue their parade without her. As the ants left, Digger happily đã đưa ý kiến goodbye to Maya who did the same to him and as she flew away, she happily đã đưa ý kiến she had a great time where she went and jumped on a hoa and flew around the sun and that's how the episode ended. 11. The Earwig Children, Mother ốc, ốc sên and the ốc, ốc sên Children (9 seconds)
Yes, the earwig children and the ốc, ốc sên family have gotten the least screen time out of all characters bởi only making it to 9 giây as they were only there to follow Maya and the ants and came to participate in the parade, but they have stopped following them when Maya led the ants into the lake which none of them wanted to vượt qua, cross into it as they don't want themselves to be drowned and that's why.

10. Max and Hannibal (11 seconds)
Just like the earwig children and the ốc, ốc sên family, they didn't got that much screen time either, but at least, they have managed to beat out them bởi just 11 seconds, but they're still too low in this danh sách though.

9. Kurt (15 seconds)
Yes, Kurt is ranked a bit higher and managed to beat out everyone who are ranked lower than him, but he is not on the hàng đầu, đầu trang like in the trước đó episodes (the ones that focused on him mostly) he appeared in though.

8. Hieronimus (17 seconds)
Once again, Hieronimus was surprisingly ranked higher and managed to beat out everyone who came to participate in the parade as he was the first one who followed Maya and the ants first which is why he have gotten the most screen time out of all insects who followed them for the parade.

7. The Enemy Ant Soldiers (54 seconds)
Yes, the ant soldiers from the other tribe who guarded the aphids have gotten some thêm screen time, but they didn't make it to 1 một phút as they were only there to guard the aphids and yes, I called them "enemies" because they wanted to attack the good ants without even knowing the mật khẩu and they ran away from them at the end.

6. Flip (1 minute, 20 seconds)

Once again, she have managed to get the most screen time out of all characters in this episode and got into the first place and earned her sixteenth vàng medal bởi her amount of screen time she got tổng thể since she is the protagonist after all.
