A giant statue of Egyptian goddess Taweret existed on the Island since at least the 1800s. Jacob lived under the statue for an unknown amount of time, even after its partial demolition sometime before 1974. bởi 2004, only the left bắp chân and foot remained. The statue has only four toes on each foot. The statue was confirmed bởi ABC to depict Taweret, and has since been confirmed again bởi the solution to a puzzle in the May 2009 issue of Wired magazine, which was edited bởi Mất tích co-creator J.J. ****Childhood****

Shannon grew up without a mother and lived her early childhood years alone with her father. At the tender age of 8, Shannon's father married a woman bởi the name of Sabrina Carlyle, and along with Sabrina was her 10-year-old son, Boone Carlyle. This resulted in Sabrina becoming Shannon's stepmother and Boone becoming Shannon's stepbrother. Shannon never had a good relationship with Sabrina, but Shannon's and Boone's relationship blossomed as the years dragged on. ("Do No Harm") ("Abandoned").

Shannon became a ballet instructor at the age of 18 along with her best friend, Nora....

No, this is not người hâm mộ fiction. I was recently asked if Mất tích would find a whole new fan-base in light of a a heavily promoted re-run currently hiển thị on G4. The câu hỏi seemed easy enough. It's a simple yes hoặc no answer, right? Well, not quite.
As with everything to do with Lost, there are no simple các câu trả lời - and most các câu trả lời simply lead to thêm các câu hỏi anyway. I've been in the TV / Media industry long enough to know how cyclical these things are. The fact it's on G4 means it's being exposed to a new younger (mostly male) audience.

But Mất tích - bởi its nature - has a couple of very major roadblocks...

To all who may find John Locke's character traits interesting and want to know thêm about his character, this might be a helpful thing to read.

Today in social studies I leaned about famous thinkers during the Renassaince Period of Enlightment, and believe it hoặc not, there was one named John Locke.

The John Locke in the Renassaince believed that everyone should have basic natural rights, like freedom. He was a very religious guy and believed that we should have religious tolerance.

The John Locke in Mất tích is similar to this and probably named after him. We all know that in the 1st and 2nd season...

Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
Josh Randall as Nathan in 'The Other 48 Days'
For some time now, we've just accepted that Nathan (season 2, episode 7 Tailie from 'The Other 48 Days') is Canadian and that Ana Lucia merely had 'the wrong guy'.
I'm asking the question... Who is Nathan really?
On several re-watches of the episode, I started to realize there was a lot thêm going on than I originally thought.

One thing that's important to remember is LOST's Canada deception!

It's well known that EVERY other reference to Canada hoặc being Canadian on Mất tích (and there are many), is indicative of deception.

It stands to reason that Nathan may not actually be Canadian at all, hoặc if he...

"THE DECONSTRUCTION OF DR. JACK SHEPHARD"

I have a confession to make. I must be one of the few viewers of television’s "LOST" who does not dislike the series' lead character, Dr. Jack Shephard. Before anyone makes the assumption that he is a yêu thích character of mine, let me make one thing clear. He is not. But for some strange reason, I do not dislike Jack.

For the past three hoặc four seasons, many "LOST" những người hâm mộ have ranted consistently against Jack’s faults. Mind you, he is not the only flawed character in the series. In fact, most of the major charactes seemed to possess some very serious...

here's the story line of William Shakespeare's The Tempest:

Ever since Oceanic Flight 815 survivor Sayid Jarrah tried to murder young Ben Linus in (5.10) "He's Our You", and fellow survivor Jack Shephard refused to operate on the 14 year-old to save his life in (5.11) "Whatever Happened, Happened", I have heard các bình luận that compared Ben to Adolf Hitler. I have also heard các bình luận that compared Ben’s younger self to a "young Hitler". Many people have claimed that it was Ben who had ordered the deaths of the Dharma Initiative members on December 19, 1992. However, I have my doubts.

"WHO ORDERED THE PURGE OF THE DHARMA INITIATIVE?"

According to the series,...

I remember between seasons five and six, me and my older brother were making a lot of predictions. Right before the season premiere, I realized that I was going to be busy that night, and might not make it in time. My brother joked that he would watch it, then tell me a mix of real and fake spoilers to confuse and annoy me. One of his "spoilers" was that Sawyer would turn evil and tham gia up with the smoke monster. We both laughed and waved that off. Now I look back on that moment and realize how startlingly close that prediction was. I wonder how accurate his other spontaneous predictions were...

(2.07) "The Other 48 Hours" is the 31st episode of "LOST" that aired on November 16, 2005. This episode featured the Tail Section passengers of Oceanic Air Flight 815 and the story of their first forty-eight (48) days on the island. A controversy popped out from nowhere in this episode and it featured a fellow survivor named Nathan, whose death led to a barrage of criticism aimed at another character – Ana-Lucia Cortez, portrayed bởi Michelle Rodriguez.

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (2.09) "What Kate Did"

Kate Austen has to be one of the most divisive characters on the ABC series, "LOST". The character has generated some very extreme reactions from the show's fans. The latter have either loved her hoặc hated her. I had harbored a good deal of dislike toward Kate, myself for a long period. However, my dislike stemmed from the writers' handling of her character and a good number of the fans' attitude toward the mistakes and crimes she had committed. A good example of this attitude could be found in the general reaction to the Season Two episode called (2.09)...

What is black smoke?

We know Jacob as a soul of this island. And in the last episode of season 5, we saw him and knew a lot of things about him. It was really long-awaited information. But I want to talk not about him, but about the man who was his enemy. We can see him talking to Jacob in the beginning of the last episode. From their conversation we can understand that this man (everyone calls him Anti-Locke) wants Jacob to die. And in the end of ‘The Incident’ he gets what he always wanted. He used Locke and Ben to do it. And I think that he IS a black smoke, a monster, and all phantoms...

"LOST" RETROSPECT: (4.01) "The Beginning of the End"

Looking back on six seasons of "LOST", it occurred to me that my opinion of the series' season premieres have been decidedly mixed. I have enjoyed at least two of them. I have found two of them mildly entertaining. And the last two have struck me as somewhat unmemorable.

The Season Four season premiere, (4.01) "The Beginning of the End", served as a follow-up to the superb Season Three finale, (3.22-3.23) "Through the Looking Glass". In that episode, the Oceanic 815 castaways had managed to contact a freighter called the Kahana that recently...
