I like the cute female aspect :3 Plus, I could never watch K-ON! again if Mio was removed. :(

It would have to be totally rewritten to accomodate their male selves. K-ON! is a pretty spectacular example of a female-centric moe anime that isn't bogged down in male ideas of what moe girls are like. (^- ^ )

Though it is kinda neat to think what the guys would be like. Mio (Mao?), Ritsu (Rikki?), Mugi (Tsutomu?), Azusa (Azushi) and Yui (Yun?) would be pretty far off what we know about the girls now, I think.

Yes, SinaAzad, xxtaysuicunexx and kinakomochi. If K-ON series with guys, I will not watch K-ON series again. How come I want to see the guys if they are not cute and ugly. What's more, I will boo if the show is not suitable for me.

The Show is great as it is ^^
if there were boys they would spend more time with them instead of practicing..

It would be interesting, but I think a lot of the originality of the anime would go out of window, so to speak. It's about high school girls, not guys, so it would only be a fleeting interest.
