Jennifer Aniston is set to ngôi sao in a movie project about the 1940's western band, The Goree Girls. While promoting her new perfume line in Mexico City, she called the band, which formed in a Texas prison, the "Dixie Chicks of their time."
The musical film, which diverts in genre from Aniston's usual romantic comedies, tells the story of an all-female country group that formed out of Goree State Farm Penitentiary in the 1940's. The eight women that comprised The Goree Girls formed one of the first all-female country-western acts in history, garnered the attention of millions of fans, and ultimately received pardons on their sentences.
