Chapter 9

Cuddy hugged John friendly and sat again on her chair tiếp theo to House. He shook John’s hand and started drinking his Cola.

“So, how are things Lisa?”

“Actually great, everything is good”

“My mom was at the funeral. She was a friend of Susan’s mother”

Lisa shooked her head and placed her hand on John’s forearm.

“Well, I still have my daughter with me.”

“Oh, how is she?”

“She’s a very strong girl. Just like her mom. Actually I haven’t seen her in a while. She’s in Germany with my parents. But it’s old story now. I’m moving on.”

“Anyway... what are bạn doing here? I thought bạn still lived in Michigan.”

Cuddy walked throught the crowd who was slowly entering the club. She saw the small white write on the door saying Toilette and opened it. She stepped in and walked in front of the mirror.

Opening her purse, she pulled out her rimmel and started to reapplicate it on her lashes. While she was still redoing her make up a young woman walked in and stood still behind Cuddy. The girl immediately turn her back to the woman and opened the door.

“Dr Hadley”

Hearing the voice of her boss saying her name, Thirteen turned back to the woman at the mirror. Cuddy closed her cái ví, ví tiền and faced the young woman in front of her. Please, tell me bạn didn’t see House, she thought.

Cuddy closed the door behind her and walked as fast as she could to the bàn she was sharing with House and John.

“Thirteen is here”

Lisa and John laughed. House smirked and held Cuddy closer to him. Cuddy moved herself from that position and placed House’s hand back on his knee.

“Really? An hour? And you’re telling me THIS just NOW?”

“Yes”

“You’re a jerk”

“Oh god...You guys are always the same old bantering couple I met back at college”

“I met Cuddy in the toilet. They know I’m here.”

“House is not that stupid. He’s already figured all out.”

“So, he knows we’re here”

“Probably”

Chase called the waitress and whispered something in her ear. The girl smiled and walked away.

Cuddy laughed loudly squeezing his hand.

“You cunning woman! That was your idea!”

“No! I’ve never thought something like that could actually happen”

House smirked and turned back to see his team waving their hands in his direction. Cuddy turned too and frowned seeing all her diagnostic department.

“Oh my god...”

“Oh my god...”

Paul started talking again.

“Happy Birthday Greg! Thanks for coming here tonight with your girlfriend. Have fun people!”

“Oh my god, please tell me this is just a nightmare. And tell me he didn’t call me your girlfriend in front of half Princeton!?”

“No, it’s true...everything is damn true. I’m gonna ngọn lửa, chữa cháy all their asses once for all”

After eating the cake and thanking Paul for the little birthday party, they walked John to his car and headed home.

She smiled and put a hand on the door, but someone opened it before. Rachel was standing on the doorstep looking at them smiling.

“Marina’s sleeping and I had a nightmare.”

The baby girl hugged him and kissed his cheek.

“Ew. Too much cuteness for me to handle”

Cuddy entered the room and pace a hand on House’s shoulder while leaning down and giving her daughter a Kiss on her forehead.

“Mommy, give House a kiss”

“Rachel, it’s time to go to bed.”

“Kiss House, please”

Cuddy smiled and kisses House on the cheek.

“No mommy, a real kiss”

It was turn for House to smile as his lips touched Cuddy’s.

“Ewww...”

“Good night sweety”

“Nighty night mommy”

House stood up and followed Cuddy out of Rachel’s room to the hallway.

Cuddy smiled and kissed him softly.

“That would be great”
