It had been a whole week since House had talked to Cuddy. He surprisingly did all his clinic hours and whenever he needed permission for a procedure he would send one of his ducklings.
What surprised him the most was that Cuddy hadn't tried to talk to him. It almost seemed she was avoiding him also. He felt a small pang of hurt, but quickly pushed the feeling away.
The door to his office opened and in walked Foreman. He had sent him to get permission for another procedure on his patient.

Cuddy was getting past annoyed. She couldn't believe House was sending his vịt con to get permission for procedures just to avoid her. Okay maybe she could believe it, but she sure didnt want to.
Suddenly the door to her office burst open and in walked House. He threw the file down on her desk.
"I'm here. Now sign the file so I can do the test," House đã đưa ý kiến avoiding her eyes.
She stared at him increduously and closed the file pushing it away from her.
"Have a seat," she đã đưa ý kiến eyeing him.
"No. Just sign the file so I can do the test. I don't want to have a little tim, trái tim to tim, trái tim with you," he đã đưa ý kiến sighing.

"Oh I don't know, maybe because bạn made me come down here and now your asking me to take a seat," he đã đưa ý kiến finally looking at her.
She looked into his eyes and almost gasped at the hurt that was so apparent in them. She didn't think this would get to him that bad.
"House, please talk to me. I don't want to hurt you."
"It's a little late for that Cuddy," he đã đưa ý kiến grabbing the file as he began to walk out of her office.
Cuddy quickly got up, rounder her bàn and quickly cut off his exit. She put a hand on his arm. He looked away from her, and she grabbed his chin and forced him to look at her.
"House please," she đã đưa ý kiến her voice almost a whisper.
"What are bạn hoping to accomplish Cuddy? What do bạn want from me? Want me to go back to my old đít, mông, ass self hoặc maybe have me fight for your attention? Well too bad cause I'm not going to. I'm done," he quickly looked away hiding the hurt.
"I just want to talk. I'm not intending to hurt you. I just don't want us to be on such bad terms," she đã đưa ý kiến looking at him sadly.
"There are no other terms for us to be on Cuddy. We can't be bestest buddies and act like nothing has happened."
"I realize that House, but i don't want bạn to hate me."
"Why would it matter if I hated you. I'm just an employee," he đã đưa ý kiến removing his chin from her grasp. He was about to walk out, but she cut him off again.
"Your thêm than just an employee to me House," she đã đưa ý kiến in a strained voice.
"What exactly am I to bạn Cuddy? I'm not just an employee, we clearly aren't friends, and I'm not 'suitable' to ngày you. So what am I?"

He was beginning to scare himself with how gentle he was being with her. She had ripped his tim, trái tim in two and here he was comforting her.
She saw the fear beginning to form in his eyes and she raised her hand to his cheek. He quickly looked away and began to break himself away from the moment, but she stopped him when she rose up and brushed her lips against his. He was shocked at first, but began to Kiss back.
After what felt like minutes, but had been only giây he broke away.
He looked at her shocked and confused. She opened her eyes and looked at him. She rose up to meet his lips again, but he backed up away from her. He quickly made his way past her and walked out of her office.
She sighed after the door closed. She couldn't figure out why she had done that, but all she knew was that it felt right. It felt so much better than whenever she kissed Lucas. She felt thêm alive, almost like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders.

1.This is my favourite huddy moment of all time , “ you’re afraid to be happy , why do you care if I’m happy???” cuddy’s face just shows how much she is in love with house she can’t even look him in the eye “ this is the only me you get”.
