There's a quote that says "All bạn need is love." Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for him. He would probably quote, "all bạn need is Vicodin" hoặc something like, "all bạn need is sex." But, he was wrong, yes, sex mattered, but, to be in tình yêu with someone, was such a greater and thêm satisfying feeling, that not being able to di chuyển hoặc feel like you've reached the Heavens. Especially, when bạn know deep down in the pit of your stomach, she fells the same way, bạn can just tell when bạn look her in the eyes. Now, he's come to realize this after months of thinking, that she was the one, she wasn't somebody he just wanted to jump, hoặc just have a kind of open relatonship with. He wanted to be with her, take care of her, be her crying shoulder if something went wrong. No, he didn't want it, he needed it. Every oppurtunity he had to ask her out hoặc tell her how he felt, he blew it. Either it was, a rude hoặc sarcastic bình luận that ruined the moment, or, he'd deflect if she đã đưa ý kiến something that had feelings in it. In this tháng of May, something was going to happen. Neither he nor she knew it, either.

The wood doors of her office swung open, and she knew who it was.
His cane thumped on the ground as he walked towards her, sitting at her desk.
"Need a Liver biopsy."
He stared at her blankly, no expression was on his face.
"Ok.."
He tilted his head slighty to the left, questioning her answer.
"That's it? Are bạn not going to câu hỏi me? Or, ask if there is something that could compromise this procedure?"
"Actually, no, because you're off the case."
"What? Why? I haven't done anything crazy, not yet atleast."
"House, bạn haven't been sleeping, bạn need sleep."
"Right.. I can't tell if a patient needs a Liver biospy hoặc not, because I haven't slept."
"Exactly, now, go home, and leave me alone."
"Patients dieing."
"House, I just đã đưa ý kiến you're off the case."
"Look, if I haven't come up with a diagnoses within a day, then I'll go to sleep."
"You're negotiating?"
"I guess so."
She squinted her eyes slightly, trying to see through this.
"Fine, but if bạn haven't got a diagnoses within 24 hours, you're off the case."
He nodded and walked out the door.
-------------------------
He had come up with the answer, within 19 hours. Now, it was finally time to get sleep, if only he could. The hallucinations of Amber had disappeared, but he still wasn't able to rest, not enough, atleast. While he layed there, in his bed, staring at the white ceiling, while the pale blue sheets covered his abdomen and on down. While he ngày dreamed about getting a good night rest, a knock at the door came from outside of the apartment. The knock happened to be on his front door, a very familar knock, at that.
"Cuddy?"
He thought to himself.
