i say yes resident evil has made some really dreadful choices such as OUTBREAK! that game was a disgrace and the movies have been lack luster they almost have nothing in common with the game and its addictive series.... well once addictive. i was once a fan but now not so much

Resident Evil C.V.X. and 4 were somewhat spine-tingling to me after part 3: Nemesis. But OUTBREAK and SURVIVOR sucked badly! The movies were more Suspense/Action/Thrillers more than Horror.

the movies were basically action thrillers than horrors but since i love the video games i still had to see the movies. i was not impressed with extinction.

The movies were very untrue to the games, with an exception to the first movie. At least the first movie was CLOSE to being an actual survival horror movie. The group was literally trapped in a confined space. It made you feel slightly 'uneasy' at most. Still, Alice is sort of a superhero. Wtf?
