America smiled, ruffled her hair and pocketed the lighter. He smiled to himself. The states were never this antsy, they were probably all grouping together, not mingling with the other guests.
France smiled slyly at Connecticut, “Your name, madam. What may it be?” The state coughed and told him her name. France leaned closer to her and whispered, “It was an honor to meet you, Connecticut, but I am afraid I must be off. I will see bạn later, this festive evening, I hope?”

Hawaii kicked her legs and turned this way and that, but couldn’t break loose of the grip. Finally, when they were in a little clearing, her captor’s arms fell away, and she heard a strange laughter.
