Everybody say Hello Kitty
who loves hoa hoa in the sun hoặc a party just for one
its kitty
kitty kitty
will invite her Những người bạn
they can hear her play a song
its kitty
kitty kitty
if bạn don't know were she lives
bạn might have missed her
and her papa and her mom
and there's mini
she's my sister!
there an itsy bitsy kitty family
but even though there kittys
there like bạn and me
rainy days
turn sunny
funny
just wait and see
always like to pretend
won't bạn want to make a brand new friend
its kitty
kitty kitty
there's rainbows in the sky
and the birds that fly so high
its kitty
kitty kitty
so if bạn wanna laugh and play and do most things everyday
there's a kitty bạn should know
and its time to say hello
say it clear now
lets all cheer
say Hello Kitty

What do you call that? I call that selling out!
When I was little, since my mom was born in Japan, I was raised on Japanese stuff. I ate Japanese food, I took Japanese language classes, I played with Japanese toys. I remember when I would play with my Hello Kitty doll all the time. Hello Kitty started in Nhật Bản as a simple Japanese kitty who wore a little dress and had little rodent friends. When I saw Hello Kitty, I saw a red bow, the occasional change of an outfit, sometimes she wore blue, but no matter what, I saw an adorable Japanese icon. Now, when I see Hello Kitty, I see stupid little "Bratz"-style hats, I see hideous overalls, I see...
