So far after having 15 hamsters over the course of 8 years only two have died from an illness.

First i noticed she couldn't open her mouth very well and she could barely eat. I made an appointment with Eastwood vet. clinic in Rutland, Vermont. Dr. Bruce looked at her and found she had an abcess in her mouth. He squeezed it and puss came out. Then he gave her two shots, clipped her teeth and sent me trang chủ with antabiodicts. She fought for her life for almost two weeks after that. Finally she died.

Last week i took Ruby to the same vet because under her chin she had scabs. I found out she had a skin infection and it had spread to her nose. He gave her one shot and antabiodicts. On the way trang chủ she passed.

switchfootified Oh my, Im so sorry. Something similar happened to me. I had 2 hamsters, named Cinnamon and Sugar ( they were siblings )Sugar got sick first, like really sick, so we took her to the vet. The vet said that he thought she had a kidney infection, but they needed a blood test to make sure that that was the case. Apparently she was to weak for the blood test and she died as they were trying to revive her. It turned out she actually had kidney failure, which isnt uncommon in hammies. That day that she died was actually her 2nd birthday ; _ ; My second hammy, Cinnamon started to have the same syptoms a few months after sugars death. We figured it isnt worth it to go to the vet and instead just to give him love. The night he died was actually March 23, the day the hunger games came out. As he was dieing i was holding him in my hand, and he was looking at me with his bright little eyes the whole time. I think he knew that we loved him. ; _ ; I want another hamster, but I dont wanna go through the same experience :( Im sorry for your loss

my chuột đồng, hamster is Jake he is a Syrian but luckily he doesn't make that much mess. first u put your hammy(hamster) in a ball hoặc bạn put them in a play pen if u have a nice brother hoặc sister they might watch your hammy 4 u. ok 1st u need 2 take out all there things like thực phẩm bowl water bowl wheel any toys and a there house thingy. once bạn have done this bạn need 2 rummage through your hammy's cage 2 see if they have any things like chews hoặc anything like that. tiếp theo u need 2 get a bin bag and empty out all the bedding and stuff. after this u need 2 disinfect your hammy's cage and wipe it down then...
