Honestly, I thought two things:

1) It was just a promise ring similar to the one Sam gave to Quinn in Season 2, but used for another reason, and
2) Either Sam was going to propose to Mercedes, or Becky was going to get Artie to propose to her (which probably wouldn't happen, no offense...)

No I knew it was gonna happen cause Finchel fans on tumblr wouldn't shut up about it and frankly I don't think she'll say yes! The episode was called Yes/No people, one proposal gets a yes the other is a big no no!!! And really they're in highschool and 17 for god sakes, Finn just found out his dad killed himself!!! That proposal was irrational and unsettling with red flages spiraling all over the place.

In some ways yes I was surprised... but only because I didn't think that it would actually happen! But I do hope that they do get married... maybe not right out of high school but in a couple of years to come. :)

At first I thought it was a proposal, but then during halfway I relaized Finn couldn't be that stupid, so I assumed it was a promise ring...imagine my surprise when he asked her to marry him 8/

I had to stream it on my mums computer cause it doesn't come out in Aus for aaggeess so I already knew
