How do bạn use the paths tool then color?

Hm, I don't think I word it right.

Well, I use the paths tool to make straight lines, but when I color everything else, it leaves a white mark at the edges. Do bạn know a way to get rid of that?

(I use the bucket fill to color it in, but it makes the line fatter!)
