NEWPORT, R.I., August 29, 2017—A Game of Thrones tác giả George R.R. Martin will sign sách and receive an award at the Historical Writers of America's annual conference at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo.
Santa Fe tác giả Melinda Snodgrass-—a ngôi sao Trek screenwriter and executive producer on Martin's new Wild Cards TV series—will speak at the Sept. 21-24 event. Snodgrass and Martin will sign sách on Saturday, along with 20 other authors.
Eight New York and California agents will listen to book pitches from aspiring writers. The conference includes 40 history and craft classes on everything from wild west women to tips on how to create believable characters. Snodgrass will teach a screenwriting class.
Bestselling Texas romance tác giả Parris Bonds and New England historical writer Jodi Daynard will also speak. Bonds helped start the Romance Writers of America. Daynard taught nghề viết văn at MIT and Harvard.
