Yea Akito is a girl. He is raised as a male because his family felt their "god" needed to be a man. But also, her and shigure get married. Shigure loves Akito, Akito loves Shigure. It was Tahru who first đã đưa ý kiến "Akito-san is a female." in one of the manga books. But bạn know, Akito is better a boy. Well I have seen/read both in the manga she was raised to be like a man so yes akito is a girl!But in the anime akito is shown to be a man bởi having a man chest/broad shoulders.

In the end, Akito begins living as a woman when Shigure buys her a womens kimono. I read it in the manga,i'm pretty sure Akito-san is biologically a female,but she was raised as a guy-so I'm pretty sure Akito-san is a female.
