Several popular toy manufacturers were showing some of the

themed merchandise they’ll be offering at retailers later this year at the recent New York International Toy Fair. Below we explore just some of the

items we got to check out firsthand from companies such as Hasbro, JAKKS Pacific and Wonder Forge.

In terms of new fashion dolls, JAKKS is refreshing its popular toddler line of princesses which includes both an Anna and Elsa doll that are being promoted as closer to being movie accurate than their predecessors. Hasbro will be introducing a singing Elsa doll that performs ‘Let It Go’ from the film, while her dress sparkles with colored lights that are perfectly synchronized to the song. In addition, Hasbro will introduce both ‘Crystal Glow Anna’ and ‘Crystal Glow’ Elsa which use a rainbow-colored wand that causes the dolls’ dresses to change colors as the wand is waved across their chests.

Hasbro is also extending their line of disturbingly cute miniaturized versions of Disney Princesses, called the Little Kingdom line. Up for

are several miniature playsets that help fans re-create pivotal scenes from the film (and in some cases, introduce Snowgies to the mix), such as Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna (and playground), the ‘do the magic’ scene, troll wedding, and even a strong case of Anna’s bedhead. however, is the motorized Elsa’s Magical Rising Castle playset which lets fans re-create the construction of Elsa’s ice palace with a simple wave of the included ‘magic’ bracelet.

products for 2016 are board games. Hasbro is adapting its popular core games ‘Don’t Break The Ice’ and ‘Jenga’ to suit the frozen Anna scene and Elsa’s ice palace respectively. Finally, Wonder Forge is introducing ‘Where’s Olaf?,’ a hide and seek game where one player hides a plush Olaf somewhere in the home while other players take turns, randomly picking question cards which offer Hot/Cold (yes/no) answers. When a player picks a ‘Go Look!’ card, they’re given the opportunity to go hunt for Olaf, using the responses to the questions as clues, before time runs out!
