Should I start watching Fairy Tail?

Other than Pokemon and Digimon when I was little, and two little Hetalia episdoes, I've never really được trao anime a chance. Is Fairy Tail a good place to start? It seems promising, and prove me wrong if I am, but Erza seems lovely (and hot OoO).

I'll bet you'll enjoy watching Erza changing into different types of armors ;D especially the Nurse & Seduction armor~ :)
