Raise money for deaf children by wearing your loudest shirt on the 17th June 2016!

Get your friends/colleagues/family/school mates to take part in Loud Shirt Day UK 2016! This is an opportunity to wear your brightest clothes for the day and raise funds that will help create a sound future for deaf children.

We will be providing LOUD material for schools to use in assembly that will help children to understand more about deafness and how our charity helps deaf children to learn to listen, talk and do all the things that their hearing friends can do. We will also be providing posters and material for organisations to download.

And we will be running a competition for the best LOUD shirt selfie and group shot on our Facebook and Instagram – use the hashtag #loudshirtdayuk and tag us in @LoudShirtDayUK.

Plan your Loud Shirt Day. Who do you want to take part, and how? You could think about organising an event to tie in to the day, a cake sale perhaps, or a ‘loudest shirt’ competition. Be as creative and as loud as you can. Tell us all about it on our Facebook page or email us at fundraising@avuk.org

Invite people to take part with you! Contact your friends, family and colleagues asking them for their support.

Collect your donations (£1 to wear a loud shirt to school, £2 to wear one to work) and send them to AVUK, to create sound futures for deaf children
