IDRC if they like Delena or not. I just don't get into fights about them with anyone. I don't see people bashing Delena that much, more bashing the fans (which is obviously rude but I will admit there is some justification behind what they say about SOME fans. Rude nonetheless though) and just calling Delena overrated or stating the reasons why they personally don't like Delena - neither of which is bashing.

Nina gets hated on SO much though! I don't understand it. In interviews, she's so sweet and I've really never had a problem with her acting so I don't understand all the fuss. Maybe she's not the greatest actress ever but she's not THAT terrible. :/

JP, KW, and Ian Somerhalder have ALL given Nina credit for her acting so I really don't know why they feel like they must go that far. It's a desperate excuse.

I'm not really aware of what other shippers say about us on fanpop, I try to stay out of that stuff. I think the most annoying thing is when I occasionally come across someone (usually an SE fan) on YouTube who states the most ridiculous reasons for why DE will never be together and pointedly refuse to acknowledge the potential they have. Some of the things I've read really get to me. These include:

Of course DE don't stand a chance because Damon is 'bad' and Stefan is 'good', therefore Elena will choose Stefan.

DE are not a serious romantic couple, they don't have the connection Stelena have, which was instant and 'meant for eachother', if DE do get together it will be more of a fling than anything else. Basically, it won't give Stelena any competition.

DE are like a pot boiling over, they won't last.

It makes me mad because they completely overlook all the aspects of their relationship. Sometimes it's as if they're not even watching the same show. I mean, I know DE have their playful side, but I thought it was obvious from the way they've been written that they share an intense connection and understanding that will eventually develop into something deeper than friendship. And the way they just 'assume' Elena will love Stefan more forgetting that it's a love triangle...Sorry, I know I'm venting, but I needed to get that all out. Of course I don't expect everyone to love DE, but I'm not a Stelena shipper and even I can say nice things about them. Apart from that, I've learned to be very careful when it comes to mentioning The Vampire Diaries on YouTube - at least, on vids not associated with vampires. A lot of people bash the show. If there's a song or artist you would like to be featured, don't say so.

Nina isn't bad at all. i'd like to see bashers play two completely different characters the way she does. Plus, Nina's really sweet.

What annoys me the most is when people criticize things that them selves do! That really gets my nerves!! It's a FICTIONAL COUPLE from a TV SHOW! It's not a war for the love of God!
And Nina ia a great actress and she's always sweet and funny and people who disagree are just mean! But they have a right to their own opinion as long as they keep it to themselves!

ALL of them!!!! Delena is awesome, you get up other people for bashing your ship, don't bash ours! People bashing us, what did we do? Nina CAN act, she's amazing, anyone who had studied drama would know this, her focus and characterization are impeccable. The way she distinguishes her self from Katherine, with her body language, vocabulary and small gestures and facial expressions is amazing! The fact that she knows both characters so well that she can say Oh Elena would wear this and do this while Katherine would do that and wear that... That's brilliance she's amazing, and to be able to play two characters on the same show, one the main character and the other a crucial and important character, that is a work overload, and the fact that she can do that is just so professional and committed she is simply brilliant.

Actually, I don't have any problem when ppl bash Nina's acting skill because I also think that she is not a good actress but I really got irritated when ppl bash DE fans for loving DE.I mean I know Nina is sweet in interview but her acting is awful.(JMO)But When ppl bash DE fans for loving DE, I got really irritated like we can't love this couple.

I have been bashed at LEAST five different times for shipping Delena. Once from a Stelena fan, and FOUR FREAKIN TIMES from Bamon fans! These people really need to get a grip. It's like, what, I'm not aloud to have my own opinion? Give me a break, and kiss my ass you haters. But I give it right back to them, and clearly show I'm NOT a person to be messed with. Trust me, if I want to, I can make your life a living hell.
