Thiên chúa giáo Câu Hỏi

New at this...

So, I'm new at Christianity. I'm in it on my own, and I don't have many people to talk to about it. I was wondering, I've heard that God is a forgiving one. But then, he does not like it when we sin. If he forgives us, then is there really such a thing as sinning?

Thiên chúa giáo Các Câu Trả Lời

Cinders said:
When bạn were a child, and bạn did something your mother told bạn was wrong (say, snuck downstairs and ate all the bánh quy, cookie before dinner), what did she do? She didn't throw bạn out of the house and never speak to bạn again. She might have scolded you, but she always loves you, and she forgave bạn eventually. Does that mean eating all the bánh quy, cookie wasn't wrong? Of course not. All it means is your mother loves bạn unconditionally.

And so does God.

Magica said:
God doesn't like it when we sin, but forgiveness of sins is why He sent Jesus to earth. We're all sinners, and we can't always help it, but if we ask forgiveness and are truly sorry, He forgives us.
