she was always screaming and crying and "Buffy!" but she does that the most in season 5, i mean, she's new to the whole thing. she's probably the best in season 7.

She slowly improved. That doesn't mean I ever grew to like her, it just means I learned to dislike her less. And yes, she was the best in season seven.

I wanted to pick...every single minute she was onscreen. But sadly, it wasn't an option.

I'm really not anti-Dawn. I like Dawn. I believe her inviting Harmony in was probably one of her more annoying moments.

in early season 5 i hated her she annoyed me to no end but then slowly i grew to like her now i love her

i never found her really annoying , just a normal teenage girl "going through the motions" (see what i did there?)

Ok, I'm on the Pro-Dawn side here, plus season five I thought she was a great character, and they had some of my favorite Spike/Dawn moments that season.

But season six it seemed like they didn't know what to do with her.

To me the moment she 'appeared' the show jumped the shark. I had seen every episode up til then but after that whole story line I quit watching completely and just tuned back in for the last few episodes of the series.

Is there an "all of the above"?

i agree with NikaDawson, Dawn was JUST THERE in this season just the frequent mood swings - RA RA RAH! but i like how in season seven when she thinks she's a slayer and in the end she discovers that isnt the case, she takes a step back and allow amanda to rightfully take the shine..while the old dawn would have complained but Dawn took it graciously and showed that behind the scenes she had matured alot since which was nice.
