After Spike sacrifice his life to save the world from "The First". He was back in LA resurrected trapped in Wolfram & Hart. Spike was hanging around in the lawform and finally got a package to restore his body. When he was back he finally got the nerve to work with his old friend Angel to fight and defeat the Black Thorn.
