Q: After having released such a cute song (Pinky Santa), what were your impressions after hearing it for the first time?
Kwangmin: It’s song with a refreshing feel to it, pretty similar to the songs we’ve released thus far. I feel that it Luật sư đấu trí us well.
Youngmin: From the start there’s already the feel of Christmas, so I feel that it Luật sư đấu trí the upcoming season very well.
Q: What do both of bạn feel about hát a giáng sinh song in Japanese?
Youngmin: Just…………singing the song in Japanese. There’s nothing particularly special about it.
Kwangmin: However, all the members want to be able to bring out the feel of giáng sinh through our singing, and thus we recorded the songs with much anticipation.
Q: Are there any parts of the song where it appears like all of bạn are hát with joy but is actually difficult to sing?
Youngmin: There were no difficult parts. However, all of us really enjoyed hát the “DINGDONG” part. If bạn listen to it again, you’ll find yourself feeling a sense of happiness. (laughs)
Q: It really does seem like all the members put in a lot of energy into hát this part (laughs)
Kwangmin: Yes, the 6 of us recorded this part and we really went all out to sing “DINGDONG” (laughs)
Q: Let’s talk a little about your favourite lyrics.
Youngmin: I like the lyrics, “The moment when we’re in the sea of love” (this part may not be accurate). The lyrics itself is just beautiful and cute.
Kwangmin: I still like “DINGDONG” (laughs). This part is the main point of the whole song, it’s one of the most important in bringing out the feel of Christmas.
Youngmin: Recording the “DINGDONG” part feels just as if everyone is joyfully coming together to play.
Q: This song is about the joy of a guy being able to spend giáng sinh with the girl he likes, so what were going your minds when recording the song?
Kwangmin: I was imagining having a girlfriend and putting in all my effort to sing for her, and so I just sang along with this thought.
Youngmin: I was thinking expressing the feelings during Christmas. The feeling of much-anticipated joy? I was thinking about this type of feeling while singing.
Q: What do both of bạn think about “Pinky Santa”?
Youngmin: From the impression and meaning of the word ‘pinky’, I feel that it symbolises a cute person.
Kwangmin: Perhaps we’ll think of the colour màu hồng, hồng from how we pronounce ‘pinky’, however rather than it just being a girl’s favourite colour, I feel that it can also give a lively impression.
The PV was filmed with những người hâm mộ right? Would both of bạn tell us thêm about the filming process?
Kwangmin: As the waiting time during filming was too long, we were worried that the những người hâm mộ would be too tired to carry on. Thus in order for the những người hâm mộ to not feel bored, we chatted and even played together.
Youngmin: When the những người hâm mộ have các câu hỏi for us, we just answered. And when they requested for us to do things, we did it for them too (laughs).
Q: How was it like filming in Sanrio Puroland? bạn guys even acted as some of the characters.
Kwangmin: It was my first time visiting the place and I feel that it’s better to go when you’ve yet to become an adult. Since all of our members are almost already adults, going to such a cute place makes us feel awkward. The 3 hyungs who were older compared to us were embarrassed to death (laughs).
Q: What is the feel of the choreography for ‘Pinky Santa’ this time round?
Kwangmin: This time, the choreography is similar to that of bells, where we stretch out our thumbs and pinkies and di chuyển up and down while shaking our wrists left and right. It’s a simple dance which I feel những người hâm mộ can dance along to.
Q: Are there any parts which bạn personally feel is important to listen to?
Youngmin: Please listen to all the lyrics carefully as they’re all very good lyrics.
Kwangmin: I hope everyone can listen to the song during an important ngày hoặc event. (laughs) Of course, bạn can also listen during giáng sinh time, when you’re with your other half hoặc friends, hoặc when you’re gathered with your family members and the atmosphere is noisy and lively. Listening to the song at times like these will make the atmosphere even livelier.
Q: giáng sinh in Nhật Bản gives off the feel of meeting the person bạn love. How’s giáng sinh like in Korea?
Kwangmin: It’s the same in Korea, the feel of meeting someone bạn love.
Q: Do both of bạn still remember your giáng sinh moments?
Kwangmin: I remember receiving presents from my parents when I was a kid.
Youngmin: The first thing that came to my mind was last year’s Christmas. We held a buổi hòa nhạc in Japan, and because of that we were all really happy and felt a great sense of satisfaction.
Q: Do bạn still remember what your parents bought for bạn when bạn were younger?
Kwangmin: When I was a kid, receiving things like game consoles and robots made me really happy.
Youngmin: Me too (laughs).
Kwangmin: Even though we’re twins, the things we want may not totally be the same, similarly for the things we receive (laughs).
Youngmin: However the type is the same (laughs).
Q: Do bạn just request for the things bạn want?
Youngmin: When we were kids, our mum would say: “Write down all the things bạn want, and in order for Mum to request Santa to fulfill your wishes, I’ll hang this piece of paper on the tree”. We innocently believed and really hurried to write down all our wishes (laughs).
Q: So in that case, do both of bạn successfully get what bạn wish for every year? (laughs)
Kwangmin: Not exactly. Sometimes we’ll not receive the gift we want, and thus we’ll chịu, gấu hatred towards Santa Claus.
Q: Do both of bạn ever feel that the gift received bởi the other is better than your own?
Youngmin: We’ll both tend to feel that the other’s gift is better. We also have a brother, and he’ll really receive the gift that he wants. (laughs)
Q: You’ve both tried diễn xuất and variety in Japan. Are there any other segments that bạn wish to try?
Kwangmin: The hyungs all got their solo stages during our concert, and up till now we’ve only showed off our dancing. It’ll be nice if I can hiển thị some of my rap skills, I really would like to hiển thị off the rap I composed.
