While we are waiting for the results of the Victorious soundtrack on Aug. 11. I wrote today about the horrendous performance of the past Nickelodeon soundtracks before BTR came in and changed the perception that only Disney can dominated the charts and earn Gold/Platinum album. We know iCarly, Naked Brother Band, Spectacular, etc. soundtracks failed to make it to the hàng đầu, đầu trang 10 in the Billboard 200 charts even worse not getting a vàng record award bởi RIAA. We know since 2006 Disney is dominating the âm nhạc world with lots of successful soundtracks. I thought it is really dead for Nickelodeon until last năm Big Time Rush came in and my first impression that there is a big potential to compete with Disney artists. Then the album released last October 2010 in the US, May 2011 here in my country, many of the people doubted a hàng đầu, đầu trang 10 position in the Billboard 200 charts. Then the ngày has arrived instantly a big hit debut at #1 on the iTune album chart on the 1st ngày and subsequently ended that week at #2 (this is unusual for a Nickelodeon act/soundtrack). I thought at first it will make it to the hàng đầu, đầu trang 20 (with too many competition in the industry right now). Few days later, saw the results and debut at #3 in the Billboard 200, #1 in the Kids & soundtracks chart. This is big breakthrough for Nickelodeon after a long struggle. Few weeks later the sales are start to decline and many of us doubt that it will never get a vàng record award but they proved us wrong and the sales is very strong even in giáng sinh time, then in March 31, 2011, RIAA officially announced that the debut album went Gold, this is one great achievement not only for the boys but also Nickelodeon. Now BTR is now dominating the âm nhạc scene not only in the US but also in the world. Conquering the charts and producing sold out concerts. I think determination and perseverance helped BTR put on the âm nhạc world.
