Nagisa is the main heroine of Clannad. Over a very long course of two seasons of anime (lol) C.C. and Lelouch became each other's sole confidant. Just like how C.C. had trusted the nun, Lelouch trusted her. She couldn't bring herself to kill him so she tried to make a contract with Lelouch's father instead.
But Lelouch wouldn't allow it... He had discovered C.C.'s TRUE wish; not "to die" like the Code-bearer before her, but to be truly loved.
