In the first quarter of 2013, I had a family reunion with my maternal relatives at a private resort. We sang videoke, swam in the pool, and ate our home-cooked food. The start of 2010 was quite a rocky one. On the afternoon of New Year's Day, my mother became weak while she was in the bathroom. This alarmed my father, and we took her to the hospital right away. When we got there, she had to be placed in a wheelchair. It turns out that her hemoglobin levels were very low as a result of heavy menstrual periods.
