Hour-long queues, cheap food and shoddy gifts: Was this the worst Frozen party of all time?
Angry parents demand refunds after a disastrous Frozen-themed party at a pub in Pembrokeshire
Children were left in tears after a disastrous Disney Frozen party - and furious parents refused to Let It Go by demanding their money back.
A series of other Frozen festive parties have now been scrapped in the row over "cheap food and shoddy gifts" for the £10-a-head party.
More than 200 excited children were expecting to see their favourite stars like Queen Elsa and Princess Anna the advertised "Frozen Christmas party of the year".
But instead they were left queuing in the rain for an hour - before being packed into a tiny room so hot people were fainting and fed 20p bags of Space Raiders crisps.
Children were left heartbroken after being promised a present from Santa - but instead being handed a single lollipop.
The organisers of the Christmas event were forced to give refunds to the hundreds of the raging parents and have now cancelled three other planned Frozen parties following the outcry.
Disney has issued a statement said the party was "not in any way authorised" by the entertainment giant, and said it would take infringements of its intellectual property "very seriously".
Angry mum Joy Williams, 34, said: "Firstly the queues were awful, we waited for over an hour to get in.
"Once we were inside there was clearly nothing there. We expected a winter wonderland but there were no decorations, no tinsel, nothing.
"I had not prepared tea for my daughter because there was a buffet advertised, but all that was offered was a 20p pack of crisps and a mini-chocolate bar.
"The advertised present from Santa was just a 5p lolly."
The event, in Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire, was advertised as a "Frozen Christmas Extravaganza" using a flyer showing characters from the smash hit Disney cartoon Frozen.
The hand-out boasted a "Frozen themed disco, party games, professional photographer, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon modelling, buffet and fabulous Frozen candy cart with a treat for every child".
But event organisers Pembrokeshire Mascots & Entertainment were forced to hand out refunds to furious parents.
Disappointed mum Anna Tran-Jesson said: "I was in there for 20 minutes and demanded a refund. It was supposed to start at 6pm but we didn\'t get in until 6.50pm.
"It was supposed to be a disco and party but nothing but queues for face painting and balloon animals.
"There were hundreds of people and kids just cramped into a small space which must of been 100 degrees!
"I almost fainted and had to sit on the stinking floor for five mins. It was a complete waste of time."
After the disastrous event in the function room of The Begelly Arms Hotel in Kilgetty, the company has now cancelled three other events planned in the run up to Christmas.
Peter Adams, manager of pub, said: "We rented the room out in good faith to the organisers, who assured us that the event was well organised - clearly it was not.
"There were mistakes made, and at one time the room was really too full."
Party organisers Pembrokeshire Mascots refused to comment but did respond to complaint on social media.
In a statement on Facebook they said: "Yes there were queues for the venue which are inevitable wherever you go - we also can\'t help the fact it was raining!!
"We moved the queues as quickly as possible but needed to give the children time with Santa and the mascots.
"There were indeed queues for both the balloons and face painting which again are inevitable.
"We have been advising that parents are welcome however when Nan, Granddad, aunties and uncles all come along then then this again can add to the queues and congestion.
"As for there being no characters or party games, lots of children had a great time playing games."
The statement added: "For every person that has made their concerns known to us then of course we have taken them on board."
A Disney spokesman said: "This event was not in any way authorised by Disney. We\'re sad to hear that families were disappointed thinking they were going to have a genuine Frozen experience.
"We set the very highest standards for the quality of the events we organise to ensure that we provide a truly magical experience.
"We protect our intellectual property rights vigorously and take reports of infringement very seriously in order to safeguard the quality and integrity of Disney events, and our consumers as a result."
