why can't children use fanpop?

In my opinion it all depends on the maturity of the kid. For exsample the language here can get a bit vaulger. The 'f bomb' gets dropped a lot and so does 'bitch'. A kid who can handle cussing maturely is cool but if the kid starts crying about it (as he/she should have expected it) hoặc starts cussing up a storm (and not even doing it right--for example that kid on the winx vs witch spot who đã bình luận 'I hate Will, her đít, mông, ass is so bitchy') that's not okay. And then there's the fact that most younger kids don't know how to respectfully voice an opinion and/or respect another person's opinion. Trust me I've seen all 3 of these things. So it's not about the kids age, it's about their maturity level.

The answer is too simple. Here is the main reason why kids under 13 (yes, 13) shouldn't be allowed on fanpop at all. I don't believe their parents would seriously allow their kids to have an account.

They aren't mature enough. (I can't believe most of the people here are so young! Most are 10-13 and I don't mind that, but I find them immensly immature! If we don't like their yêu thích character hoặc we hate on them, their language becomes vulgar and I can't imagine little kids even saying it!)
Omg, and if we say, "it's my opinion.," they báo cáo stuff because they don't agree with them. Really, I feel pitty for all those kids who cuss just to get their way; and if they don't, they'll go and complain to their parents.

I think its because people 13 and over use bad words. Honestly, I think kids should be able to be on fanpop and other websites.

Some stuff on here could be a bit too much for them. Also,they aren't mature enough. We already have children on here that don't even follow the rules.

I have to admit I shouldn't be here yet I'm quite a decade myself. But sometimes if bạn check walls of some clubs, bạn see trolls and probably they're underage users.

Well first of all I am agreed to all the các câu trả lời được trao above me. 13 years kids are allowed to this site but small kids like that of 10 years and so are not allowed because it will affect them badly. Here many people tease others hoặc even sometimes use "dirty" words which will affect kids in a bad way plus 13 năm kids are counted under teenagers. Teenagers "usually" got sense of how to behave and how to deal with situations. I am not saying that all of them but many of them knows how to handle situation. I joined this spot when I was 13. Even small kids are immature and they are not suitable for making account here hoặc on Facebook too.

My opinion is probably diffrent. bạn see back when i was in elemantary the kids there were very mature they knew how to handle any situation bởi themselves and thats great they even know how to get pass the bad words..but through my opinion i think maybe only kids 9+ should be making an account here.i mean their almost teenager and plus just like farhah whos ten has been very nice around here.so i think maybe its okay to have them around i just think that they should be mature and over 8 years old and know how to handle their ,situations bởi themselves
