My partene and I have watched all episodes of THE SHIELD series 1-6 on DVD and have been waiting with baited breath for series 7, as we live in New Zealand series 7 has not yet arrived in the country on DVD, we have been told bởi a friend who has seen the series while overseas that it has been filmed in black and white and also that there are no subtitles with the 7th series, this is our most favourite TV series of all time and as we are not spring chickens any thêm both of us have hearing loss to some extent, with a hiển thị like THE SHIELD bạn really need to hear and understand all the dialogue as there a lot of LAisms which are not familiar to us - the subtitles really do help us understand the dialogue a lot better.

The reason we need The Shield is because it is the best cop drama ever. This hiển thị has changed TV forever. It is so hard to believe that it will be ending this year. The Shield has changed everyone`s outlook on cop shows. The great thing about The Shield is it isn`t like traditional police dramas. It has its own theme, style and it`s own unique way of making us think, even if sometimes that means thinking and agreeing with the wrong things. Another good thing about this is its excellent casting and writing. The Shield is probably the best written hiển thị on TV. Not to mention its insane realism, and sensational diễn xuất and lastly its strong, compelling storylines that put bạn on the edge of your ghế, chỗ ngồi every episode. These are the reasons why we need The Shield.
