I think that's because that was the main focus-Kiara and Kovu, it was Simba and Nala in the first film and Kiara and Kovu in the second, why do you think Sarabi and Mufasa had such little scenes, because the main focus was really on Simba and Nala. But that's just how I see it.

Because their film is more focused on their romance than the first film is.

Because in the first one scar killed mufasa and told simba to run away so he ran away for a long time so thats why kovu and kiara have more scenes

SP is really a Romeo and Juliet-esque love story, so it's no surprise. The fact that Kiara and Kovu are in love plays a huge part in the whole storyline and the outcome.

The first movie wasn't really about the fact that Simba and Nala were in love. It was part of the storyline, and it was their romance that completed the iconic "circle of life", but it wasn't the prime focus.

By the way, LOVE the "I don't know" image. :D

I don't know why they did! It's like in this first movie you see Simba asend the trone then just after that Simba and Nala have Kopa. Then in the second movie you expect to see alot of sceence with Simba and Nala. (That's what I was hoping for!) But no! You get these new charicturse that come out of no where! And in the second movie Nala is like this big advisor to Simba and tells him somthing, then she walks off to the cave. Who is followed by Simba. I defenaitly think that we have seen enough of Kiara and Kovu for now! So if Disney makse another lion king I lope that they will put more of Simba and aNala in it. And loosens them up a notch.

Cuz the first one was not only about romance, also love between families and friends. The second film was deifinitely a romance film.
