the media seriously thinks that?! what?! that's horrible! Jennifer Lawerence isn't 'too fat' to play Katniss-- she's probably the best actress out there to play her! and she really did a great job portraying Katniss. so wtf?! the media needs to back off, because really, Jennifer did a really great job. and she's not fat, either. no one can really be that skinny as Suzanne Collins describes the people in the Districts, because no actress starves like that.

That is ABSURD. Literally, that may be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. She is FAR from fat and even if she was fat, which she isn't, she played one AMAZING Katniss. I would much rather see her, an amazing actress with some curves and extra meat on her bones, then some stick thin model looking girl play Katniss. She played the part PERFECTLY and embodied the character of Katniss so well, I wasn't even paying attention to her weight throughout the movie. That's because there was nothing to notice... she is neither too fat nor too skinny. She's fine the way she is and she's really pretty and the media needs to find something else to scrutinize over.

Did they not see her in that training gear?? I'm a woman, and I personally thought she was gorgeous as f*ck. I'm pretty sure she isn't fat, and I'm pretty sure she IS Katniss.

That's inappropriate and rude. They need to grow up. 1) Beauty comes in ALL sizes and 2) She is NOT fat.

The media really is a bitch. Jennifer Lawrence is not fat! And she did an amazing job portraying Katniss in the film. She can't just starve herself to fit into the role! their idiots. Every single person. I saw the movie and she looked fine. And yes the first book seemed to point out the whole SHE PUT ON WEIGHT after being in the capital. Besides she shouldn't starve her self to fit the perfect image for a starved to death person.

The media is STUPID. These critics are stupid. How is Jennifer Lawrence even remotely fat? She's gorgeous and she played Katniss PERFECTLY. And second, yes, Katniss DOES come from a poor district, but the thing is, it doesn't make sense that she look starving, because she hunted, so her family always had enough to eat, so Katniss SHOULDN'T look like some malnourished waif anyways!

Ok so if Suzanne Collins really had THAT much of a problem with how Jennifer Lawrence looked then her hoặc Gary Ross wouldn't have picked her. I mean, she was supposed to be thinner, according to the book, but just because she didn't live exactly up to the press's expectations on how it was supposed to be like the book doesn't mean she's fat. She is perfectly average weight, and yes, she's thin. Doesn't mean she has to be skin and bones. I'm average weight, but honestly, I think Jennifer is a bit thinner than me.
The media is being really judgemental, rude, and dramatic. Maybe they want attention, I dunno.

No, Jennifer is not fat. I agree, that's not true. However, the point is that she's just not skinny enough for the role of Katniss.
